ARTIST NOTES: Some of the best memories of my childhood were spending long days at the beach. My grandparents lived right near it and all of my aunties, uncles and cousins would meet at their house and we'd walk to the beach together. Our family spent long hours basking in the beautiful sun with the wireless playing, building sandcastles, swimming to sand banks and throwing the ball to each other, full of beautiful happy moments. I still love visiting the beach and making memories with my own kids but now I also love bringing the beach into my studio. It just made me happy creating this piece and makes me reminisce. I have decided to call it 'Beach memories' after my holiday memories as a kid!
